How to prevent a squirrell from eating the flowers and messing up the garden?
Organically? I use crushed red hot pepper flakes. I sprinkle them around the plants and bulbs. When a critter smells the pepper flakes they run the other way!
Reply:You will not deter Grey Squirrels, they are persistent pests. If you have Red Squirrels you are extremely fortunate, and they are protected by law. Grey Squirrels ? I just shoot them.
Reply:put a bucket of nuts next to it!
Reply:If the're bulbs plant gumballs(sugar maple) with bulbs. The squirrel feels the points on gumballs and leaves. If the're blooming buy an outside cat.NO Squirrels!
Reply:FEED IT!! Sing the Almond Joy theme!!!! Sometimes you look like a nut....
Reply:trap it and move it to the neighbors yard down the block:)
Reply:A little water with red pepper in it, sprayed on the flowers.
