HELP! how do I keep the squirrels out of my garden? they are eating up the flowers off my squash.?

Eiether go to the store and buy sevin dust and dust you plants or lookup homemade remedies and use them on your plants. A shotgun works well too. Good luck, the sevin dust did the trick for me.

i know with some animals if you put your hair clippings around your plants it will keep them away. the animal will smell the human scent and stay away. its worth a try. go to barber shop and ask for a pile of clippings
Reply:anything that is shiny and makes noise should scare them away, hair is supposed to help, i have heard that some animals don't like the scent of soap so put a couple bars of soap around your plants, a barn cat, or if you like having squirrels around, put out a squirrel feeder that has foods that the little critters will like better than your squash blossoms!
Reply:My grandma has this owl that sticks in her garden and when a squrril gets near it it makes this sound that scares them away...it helps!
