Roses always smell good. The best time to plant them would be in the spring though.
Reply:Actually depends on what part of the country you live in (what horticultural zone for specific climate for plants). For Pacific NW, try azaelias, lavender, %26amp; roses. For S. Texas try lavendar, roses, petunias, heliotrope, and cosmos.
Reply:I don't know if they're considered flowers buy mint and lavender smell good and honeysuckle.

Lilac. Jasmine.
Reply:Well, most flowers should be planted in the Spring, but if it hasn't frosted yet where you live, you can always plant tulips and buttercups. They have a nice scent that isn't overpowering.

In the spring, my favorites are Sweet William and Sweet Pea.
Reply:mailorder hybrid roses are the best. plant it somewhere everone can see but not pick from.
