What can I put in or around my garden to keep my chickens from eating my flowers they fly over the fence?

The garden fencing does not work. They fly on the roof and over a 6 foot fence so that certainly does not keep them out. I thought if there is something they don't like the taste of maybe that may work

Hi,

Clip one of the chickens wings, this will off balance the bird and stop it flying over the fence. Do not clip both wings.
Reply:Plant marigolds outside your garden for the chickens. They'll eat those flowers instead of your garden posies. Marigolds are tasty to chickens and produce rich golden yellow yolks in their eggs. Aw, rats! More flowers, poor you! Need some help? Will work for farm fresh eggs?
Reply:nicotania and marigolds are good repelling flowers
Reply:mix red pepper and water in a lawn sprayer and spray on garden.
